I must say that this is the best phone I have ever owned. It does everything but browse the internet. with the 1 gig memory card I can hold tons of music pic and movies. As a matter of fact I havent reached full capacity yet, even after 6 months. Not to mention you can get larger and larger micro SD cards seemingly every couple of months. Overall an absolute steal at $250.00
Pro : Camera, Camcorder, MP3, Slide screen
Con : no internet

I love this phone. I mainly picked it up because it plays music. I rarely use the phone to talk so the battery life really isn't an issue for me. My only real complaints would be that the standard headphones aren't that great and they don't stay in my ears if I try and use them for running/working out. The other negative is, the phone doesn't come with a connector that you can plug into an aux line in your car stereo. I tried to order one through Nokia after I found out that Radio Shack doesn't even have an adaptor, but Nokia doesn't make one either. Other than that, you'll love this phone as long as you're not using it in your car or in the gym.
Pro : Lots of storage, easy to use, great display
Con : Headphones just ok, battery will drain if you talk alot

After having second-handedly dealt with the hell that is the new AT&T/Cingular customer service for my husband's phone, I have sworn them off (and therefore the iPhone). What could I upgrade to with T-Mobile (who I LOVE, btw) that wouldn't cost an arm and a leg but provide fun functionality? My answer was realized in the Nokia 5300.
PROS
This phone is an excellent value for the money (perhaps free if you're signing up as a new customer). I've always been a big fan of Nokia phones, and they certainly haven't disappointed with this model. The camera takes phenomenal pictures. The messaging format now allows for copying and pasting of text and saving a "draft" of a message if you should need to look at the original message to which you were replying. The feel of the sliding screen is solid. The built in speaker is quite impressive for its size.
CONS
As mentioned in other reviews, the battery life is less than what I'm used to after having used the Nokia 3220 for the past 2 years. The battery does charge quickly, but a brand new battery will lose its charge over the course of a typical day of use. Just keep the charger handy, and you shouldn't have a problem.
I'm the type of person that tries to be very delicate with my electronics, so as not to break them. I really felt like I was about to break the back of the phone completely off when trying to remove the cover to insert the SIM card and battery. It would be extremely helpful if it was a little more spring-loaded or some similar tweak. The other downside to the battery cover being difficult to remove is that the micro-SD card cannot be accessed without removing the cover.
Despite the minor cons, this phone is really fun to use and very well designed. I anticipate using it for years to come and highly recommend it.
Pro : Ergonomics, Speaker, tZones speed, Camera
Con : Battery life, Tricky battery cover

I wanted an ipod but didn't want to spend money on it. Here's a combo that I can really use for a great price! After all the rebates, it was free! It comes with earbuds to listen to music and it doubles as a hands-free device. You can try to enhance the radio to hear fm better. Using the Nokia PC Suite to download music from my cd's to the phone was really easy. You can also use this to download your contacts (for me: inputting the contacts with just the phone was faster than downloading from the pc) and you can have 4 numbers for 1 contact (greatly reduced the number of contacts I had with my old razr). There are still a lot of features that I haven't tried like voice-dialing. My kids are already fighting over which one gets to "inherit" my Nokia Xpress.
Pro : Combo phone/mp3 player/camera
Con : Battery life, needs more gb for pix, speaker for music-not so great

one of the best mobile phones i have. its like it has almost everything in its tight little package. a music & radio player for when you wanna chill out a video player that plays 3gp video formats for when you wanna enjoy a movie, & a 1.3 megapixel camera to capture those special moments. it has excellent sound quality rivaling that of the best mp3 players around. it cn play an entire movie too. just convert your movies into 3gp format & you're good to go. the screen is quite small but in situation where a movie will bw a great idea, this phone helps a lot. the 1.3 megapixel camera may be a little low when it comes to resolution, 2 megapixel or higher would have been great, but in cases where you need a camera, the 5300 can do the job well. it has a cool, styish slide design & easy access music keys. again, i love this phone! its minor drawbacks are shadowed by its amazing functionality. a nice phone & a great music player. what more can you ask for.
Pro : music & video player, expandable memory, radio, quadband
Con : needs more camera resolution
