this phone is wonderful! I updgraded from the lg 8100 and was concerned it was going to be too big but it seems like a good size. It is thinner than the 8100. The only bummer is I had to buy a MICRO sd card. My 8100 used a regular sd. Overall I would recommend this phone
Pro : very easy to use. the keyboard makes texting a breeze. the camera takes very good pictures. the screens are bright and easy to see
Con : unable to transfer ringtones from old phone to this one

Sometimes you give up functionality when you look for style especially with cell phones. Not a problem with this phone. This phone is sleek stylish and very functional. The camera takes awesome pictures and movies that are over a minute long. The GPS is on point I could never get lost again. Its well worth the money.
Pro : phone has so many features all useful
Con : None

I did alot of research before considering switching cell phone providers. I was looking at either going with T-mobile or Verizon. I previously was with Cingular. After alot of research, compairing the LG Env to the Sidekick 3 I decided to go with the Env. Reason being it had all the features the Sidekick 3 had but out performed it with grace. Now, getting to the good stuff. I am a gadget freak and usually have all the latest and sexy products that come to the market. Granted the En-v ain't as sleek and Sexy as the Sidekick 3 it still was atractive with it's own curves. Getting to mess with The En-v I was blown away by how many features this thing has. If you get the vcast you can watch videos on the go. Such as you tube videos, ESPN (my personel fav) weather, E!, Mtv and a whole lotta other goodies also you can browse the web. Taking pictures and recording random things were my favorite thing to do with this just cause everything was so clean and crisp like i was taking them with an expensive digital camera. Anyways to make a long story short don't hesitate to buy this phone it is well worth it. Watch out for the haters.
Pro : 2.0 Megapixel Camera, Video Records up to 1 hour, Qwerty is easy to get use to,bright screen in front and flip out, great reception, sexy style, all the features and more
Con : Peaple get jealous when they see me With it! Sorry Haters

This is an excellent upgrade to the LG vx9800 (the "v"). Only 2/3 it's original thickness and almost half the weight. Now supporting Bluetooth file transfer and stereo headphones too! I own the 9800 and the Envy 9900 and the biggest difference I saw was the interface is now black and blue, rather than orange and grey. Its SEXY! This is what the "V" (vx9800) should have been. The menus are MUCH faster. Taking pictures is a cake walk now, and not a fumbling mess like it used to be. The camera supports full auto focus too (like a regular digital camera). I started hacking the phone on day 1 and noticed that it supports MP3 & WMA natively rather than just WMA. For video you can use Apple MPG4 (3gp with AAC audio) or XVID (with AAC or MP3 audio) at VERY high bitrates (1mbps video with 384kbps audio encode rate) Thats fast. Great! The phone plays back these formats without a hiccup. The camera lens now has a built in cover too that is opened up by twisting a ring around the lens. Audio quality is the same from built in speakers. I was playing Hilary Duff
Pro : Slim, Light weight, Improved software (comp. vx 9800), Faster interface, Much sexyier than vx9800, excellent bluetooth range!
Con : Bluetooth file transfer a bit cumbersome, new power-plug design (wont work with other LG hardware)

This being the first LG phone i have every purchased i am really impressed. The easy of transfering from application to applictaion is flawless. Plus the flip open screen is totally adjustable, allowing you to see it easily outdoors. If your a total picture freak this pohne is perfect for you. You can operate the camera with ease whether the phone is open or closed. And with it's 2.1 megapixel resolution the picture quality is superb. If you looking for a phone with music and photos and love text this phone is for you.
Pro : Makes texting easier than ever.
Con : The front LCD screen is a bit to small.

when i first saw this phone i knew i had to have it.
when i got it i was absolutely thrilled!
but after a couple months it seemed like a couple features were limited, for example:
1) the camera zoom sucks! – you can hardly tell that you've zoomed into anything
2) the phone is still too thick – its thinner than the first one but it can really make a bulge if you carry it in your jean pockets
3) volume for videos and music isn't loud enough – my brother has a krazr and his volume can get so much louder than mines!
4) bluetooth sucks – while my brother was able to send pictures to a photo machine in a photo development store, mines did not work.
though, despite this phone's cons i still find my phone pretty unique considering it's got a lot of pros.
1) it has a keyguard that you can set so you won't accidentally press a key.
a notepad
2) IM has been wonderful with this phone because it has a keyboard unlike regular phones.
3) you can add your own music to your phone, the sound quality is pretty good.
4) the high resolution pictures that you take with this phone is definitely HIGH RESOLUTION.
5) you can email
6) watch videos
7) includes an Ez tip calulator
9) you can even set the sound to silent for when you take pictures
Pro : keyguard, IM, email, music, keyboard, picture quality is amazing
Con : camera zoom sucks, phone's still too thick, volume for videos aren't loud enough

Would buy again!
Pro : ALL the features you could ask for: 2.0mp camera phone, can play music, keyboard for e-mail and txt, and its a good phone!
Con : The phones ringers is too quiet. It uses the speakers inside the phone as the ring speakers and that makes it quiet. Custom ring tones are difficult to hear in a crowed store.

Con : well my pros out weigh my cons

Pro : Its easy to use and you can use it both ways
Con : weird at 1st
